As Albany Medical Center’s presence in the community grows, so too has the need for goods and services in the surrounding neighborhood. To answer that call, the Panera Bread Company sought retail space in the medical/retail complex Columbia developed at 50 New Scotland Avenue. The facility is a leased property, housing medical and administrative offices and retail space, and is adjacent to a parking facility.

The structure was completed in September of 2011.
