This building was built as a result of Albany Memorial Hospitalīs desire to attract new admitting physicians. Columbia Development Companies also provided equity financing, secured approvals, and performed physician marketing. To remain cost-effective, Columbia Development Companies fast-tracked the project development process, completing construction within one year. Many of the physicians wanted ownership in the facility, but some preferred to lease space. Setting up a condominium structure allowed physicians full control of their operation and financing in their space including the ability to sub-lease or sell their suites.
The facility houses multi-specialty groups including radiology, cardiology, and internal medicine and is connected to the hospital by an enclosed walkway. |
